Chamomile Flower

They will succeed in the poorest clay soil. They like a sunny location, although they will bloom in partial shade. The plants should be divided often as they grow and spread very rapidly. Drying Anthemis Anthemis is dried using a dessicant. Pick the flowers just when they are about to reach maturity. Use a cardboard box and cover the bottom with a suitable deesicant. Place the flowers in the box and allow it to completely cover with the dessicant. Seal a lid on the box and place it in a warm, dry place until dry. After they are dried, lift thef lowers out with extreme care and brush off any surplus dessicant with a soft paint brush. Uses Dried Anthemis is great for all kinds of decorating. They can be hanged from the ceiling and in windows. Beautiful and exclusive wreaths can be made out of it and decorated on walls and entrances. They are placed in several flower arrangements and table centerpiece. Dried flower heads are used in lotions, teas and potpourri.
