Green moss is most commonly found in the rainforests of Northwest
Pacific. It is a clean, light and feathery plant. It is a combination of
clay like texture and a fibrous texture. Green moss is generally brown
in color but for its use in topiaries and baskets, it is treated with a
green plant dye to ensure a nice green color. It generally grows nears
springs and ponds.
Dried green moss is a beautiful way to give an appealing look to flower
arrangements especially in the form of hanging baskets and topiaries. It
is used as top dressing for potted plants. It also adds a finishing
touch to all sorts of decorative dried floral displays.
Dried green moss is used as a stuffing for mattresses and pillows and
to line cradles and bags. It plays an important role in packaging of
fragile things. It adds an accent to the dry flower arrangements.
