Peepul Leaves Skeleton
The leaves of the sacred peepul tree have beautiful heart shape and
they make a rustling sound when they brush against each other. When the
leaves dry naturally, they leave behind a webbed skeleton of veins. Skeleton leaves can also be made by placing selected leaves in a pot with equal amount of bicarboante and baking powder. Add water in the pot and boil the content. On a low flame, stir gently. Once leaves have softened, rub off flesh gently. Then bleach the leaves and leave to dry on paper towels. These skeleton leaves can be dyed with a splash of colors to give them a pleasing and an attractive look. This skeleton leaf looks grand and can be made into sacred, lovely and beautiful mystical greeting cards that have an everlasting effect on people to whom they are sent. The skeleton peepul leaf is mounted on varoius objects like handmade paper, scrapbooks, wedding cards, etc. to give it an elegant and authentic look.
